“We are extremely happy for Todd and his family,” said head coach Mark Lotito. “Todd has worked extremely hard this season, continuously being one of our top players.”

“Todd is a skilled, hard-nose player with a great shot and will make an impact at Sacred Heart,” Lotito added. “Most importantly, Todd is a great person and a team player who is constantly leading by example. Sacred Heart is getting a good one.”

Goehring is the second Avalanche Midget 18U player to commit this season, joining forward Bobby Hampton (Middletown, New Jersey) who committed to Northeastern University. Forward Evan Wisocky (Hoboken, N.J. / UCONN) was also promoted to the Sioux City Musketeers (USHL).
