The AYHL week thirteen national rankings

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. – MyHockeyRankings.com published its weekly national rankings Wednesday, and 125 Atlantic Youth Hockey League teams were ranked, along with teams around the country across nine divisions, in the thirteenth published rankings of the 2016-17 regular season. The two AYHL teams that remain unranked do not meet the criteria to be ranked by the publication.
Twenty-eight AYHL teams placed in the top-25 in their respective divisions, with 14 placing among the top-ten teams, including seven in the top-five. The North Jersey Avalanche retained the number one overall ranking at Midget 18U for the thirteenth consecutive week and the Philadelphia Little Flyers ended the review period with the number one ranking at Pee Wee Minor for the second consecutive week.
Additionally, the New Jersey Colonials (Pee Wee Minor) held onto the second ranking at Pee Wee Minor for the second straight week.

The Atlantic Youth Hockey League is the USA Hockey-sanctioned Tier I AAA youth hockey league of the Atlantic District. From Connecticut to Maryland, the AYHL’s membership is comprised of over 100 teams, representing four districts, and is spread across six playing divisions. The AYHL’s mission is to develop young players with competition, fun, and good sportsmanship, and move them on to the next phase of their hockey career. With a distinguished alumni list of players that spent a portion of their playing career in the AYHL, today’s players choose to play in the AYHL knowing that it is a proven stepping stone for those serious in their hockey pursuits.
