AMHL Hires New Director of Officials
Chris Allman will oversee all officials within the AJHL, MET and AYHL

The AMHL is proud to announce the addition of Chris Allman to its staff.  Chris will be represented as the Director of Officials for the Atlantic Junior Hockey League, Metropolitan Junior Hockey League and the Atlantic Youth Hockey League.

Chris will be involved in working with and developing the officials between the three leagues.  Along with creating a core group of officials, he plans to establish a strong supervisory staff to teach and mentor the entire officiating group.

Chris has been a member of the Junior Officiating Development Program for six years as an official and an instructor.  He has worked for the AHL, ECHL, OHL, UHL USHL and NAHL.  He has also taught at the Russian American Hockey School for four years.

In his spare time, Chris likes to play hockey, golf, racquetball and tennis.  He is also a metal fabricator and machinist and enjoys doing crafty work.

“We are excited for Chris, who is stepping into a developmental position and will take a huge work load reinforcing our development model on the East Coast,” said Scott Brand, USA Hockey JODP Coordinator.
