2025-2026 season kicks off

AYHL drops the puck on the 2025–26 season with excitement and momentum

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. – The wait is over and hockey is back. The Atlantic Youth Hockey League (AYHL) officially opens its 2025–2026 season tomorrow, launching another chapter in one of the nation’s premier youth hockey organizations. With teams across multiple divisions ready to compete, develop and showcase their skills, the AYHL continues to set the standard for elite youth hockey in the Northeast and beyond.

As the first puck drops, anticipation is high across all levels—from 10U to 18U—where players, families, and coaches alike are eager to build on a legacy of excellence that has defined the AYHL for more than two decades. Last season saw incredible individual milestones, thrilling playoff runs, and alumni success at the junior, collegiate, and professional levels. With more than 50 AYHL alumni currently playing in the NCAA and more in the USHL and NAHL, the league’s impact is felt far beyond its rinks.

The 2025–26 season brings with it fresh energy, talented new players and enhanced competition. Teams have spent the offseason training, bonding and preparing to make their mark. This year’s schedule includes marquee matchups and regional rivalries that are sure to deliver fast-paced, high-level hockey from start to finish.

But the AYHL is about more than wins and standings—the league is about development, sportsmanship and fostering a lifelong love for the game. In addition to time on the ice with hockey skill development, the league remains committed to providing a positive environment where athletes are challenged to grow. Coaches, administrators, and volunteers across the league also emphasize leadership, discipline, and teamwork.

As we kick off the 2025–26 campaign, the AYHL stands united in a shared love of hockey and belief in the next generation of talent. Saturday kicks off another unforgettable season of competition, growth and memories that will last a lifetime.
