2014-15 AYHL Season Officially Begins Tomorrow

FLORHAM PARK, NJ – Twenty-six games are set to take place on the Saturday, September 6, 2014, the official kickoff to the 2014-15 AYHL season.

While several games have already taken place at the U16 Midget Minor level, all of the remaining AYHL (Squirt – Midget Major U18) will begin their league play, and the quest for national qualifiers (where applicable).

“Opening weekend is always one of the highlights of the calendar,” said AMHL President Gene Palecco. “All of the offseason preparation comes to an end and now the games mean something.”

The AYHL is coming off a banner season that saw several Division I commitments out of many U16 and U18 programs and several AYHL alumni advanced to higher levels of junior hockey, including the NAHL, the USHL and the OHL.
