MORRISTOWN, N.J. – Teams are hitting the road for the long weekend, with key matchups in the 18U Premier division ahead of the All-Star Game next weekend. The North Jersey Avalanche are taking a short trip across Rt. 80 to the New Jersey Colonials for a game that could shake up the standings.
The Colonials have several more games under their belt so far this season, but the Avalanche have a slightly higher win percentage. John Ross has been keeping the Colonials on top of their game for scoring, while his counterpart Aidan Pasic on the Avalanche is prepared to give the defense a challenge.
On Sunday, Philadelphia Hockey Club is hosting the New Jersey Jr. Titans. Right now, the Jr. Titans are the top-ranked team by win percentage. But PHC could knock them down a peg and push them further into content with the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers. Ethan Coots from PHC has recorded 33 points across 16 games so far.
The Colonials take on the Avalanche at 8:15 p.m. on Saturday, and PHC hosts the Jr. Titans at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday.
